Carpyen Barcelona
Carpyen is a contemporary lighting company founded by Antonio Carpintero and Encarnación Celdrán in Barcelona, Spain, in 1948. In 1972, Robero Carpintero joined the company, bringing along with him the industrial contemporary-minded designers of Pascual Salvador and Gabriel Teixido. One of their first designs, the Galilea, established Carpyen’s future design path: minimalist, industrial styled lighting that’s also accessible, warm and easy to use.
In 2018, Carpyen changes ownership, the company finds a new impetus, new ideas are born and it dons a new image. On this new path, in 2020, Carpyen launches Easy Light by Carpyen. Then through today, such qualities of versatility have made Carpyen lighting products suitable to both home and commercial applications, especially hotels.
